Emeritus Professor Helen Ennis (ANU Centre for Art History & Art Theory), Emeritus Professor Martyn Jolly (ANU School of Art & Design) and current DECRA Fellow Dr Elisa deCourcy (ANU Centre for Art History & Art Theory) are among over 50 international contributing authors to "Mondes photographiques, histoires des débutes" recently published by Musée du quai Branly, Paris.

The publication reappraises the history of nineteenth-century photography, significantly including the perspectives of leading scholars and curators working on this history internationally. It is edited by Christine Barthe and Annabelle Lacour, published in French and released in conjunction with Musée du quai Branly's survey exhibition, "Ouvrir L'album du monde, photographies 1842-1911" 4 April 2023-2 July 2023.
